Hi! I'm Dario De Caro — a Data Scientist with a background in Biomedical Engineering, and a semi-professional middle-distance runner .
My journey has taken me from Italy to the United States, where I embraced the student-athlete experience while competing at a high level in Track & Field. On the track, I achieved personal bests of 3:43 (1500m), 7:47 (3000m), and 13:38 (5000m).
Today, I’m building a career in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, with a special interest in applications to sport and healthcare. At the same time, I’m training with the goal of returning to competition in 2026. This site brings together my academic path, professional projects, and athletic journey.
